On August 11, 2021, Samsung unpacked and revealed all details about the smartwatch. The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and Galaxy Watch 4 were also announced.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Price
There are two types of watches available, with prices varying depending on which size and connectivity is chosen.
- Galaxy Watch 4 (40m),: $249.99 ($299.99 LTE)
- Galaxy Watch 4 (4m): $279.99 (329.99 for LTE).
- Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 42mm: $349.99 (399.99 for LTE).
- Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm: $379.99 (for LTE, $429.99)

The biggest change is Wear OS support. This means that Google apps such as Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Pay will be supported. The Pixel Watch will use the same operating system. All Galaxy watches before now have used Tizen OS.
The Samsung BioActive Sensor is included in the watch. It uses one chip to power three sensors, according to Samsung. These sensors monitor blood pressure, detect irregular heartbeats, measure blood oxygen levels, and calculate the body’s composition.

The body composition tool provides an in-depth understanding of your general fitness. It can be accessed from your wrist and measures such as skeletal muscle, basal metabolism rate, body water and body fat percentage.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Specifications and Hardware
The watch is similar to the original design, but the size and other hardware of this version are quite different. The Galaxy Watch’s 5nm processor is the first to feature it. Samsung claims that this watch has a 20% faster CPU, 50% higher RAM and a GPU 10x faster. This hardware has faster internals and allows you to multitask, scroll through various screens, and perform everyday tasks like scrolling.
Both watches come in two sizes: the Watch 4 comes in 40mm and 44mm while the Classic comes either in 42mm or 46mm. The Classic comes in either silver or black and the Watch 4 is available in green, silver or pink.
It has a resolution of 450×450 pixels and 1.5 GB RAM with 16GB storage. The watches can be ordered with or without LTE connectivity. They are available in Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth
